Steps to Prepare Amla Murabba

  • Use hot water to remove the adhered alum from the amlas.
  • After this, the amla is steeped in 2% salt solution for a day. Wash them properly to remove the salt.
  • Blanch the amla for 5 minutes at 95°C.
  • Grate it, discard the seeds and add all the flavoring agents/condiments, such as black pepper, salt, and cardamom, to it.
