How to Use Cloves

Clove churna

Mix ¼- ½ tsp of clove churna with honey or mishri and take it after meals.

Clove oil

  • Mix 1-2 drops of clove oil with honey. Take it after food.
  • For external use, mix 1-2 drops of clove oil with 1 teaspoon of water. Dip a cotton swab in the mixture and apply it to the affected area. Wash it off in the morning with lukewarm water to heal pimples.
  • For toothaches, take a cotton ball, pour 2-4 drops of oil onto it and keep it inside the mouth for 30 mins.

Mix ¼- ½ tsp of clove powder with honey and apply it to the skin. Wash it off with lukewarm water after 5-10 minutes.

Recommended Dosage of Cloves

You should not take more than the recommended dose of cloves:
